Up peaks and down valleys, to the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve

Tucked between two capes, clinging to a mountain side and strung along a beach, Saint-Irénée follows the folds of its spectacular coastal landscape. At the heart of the World Biosphere Reserve of Charlevoix, Saint-Irénée, offers an impressive combination of natural and cultural phenomena that will stir up powerful aesthetic emotions.

Squeezed between the river and the heights, it offers an oasis of rest and music. Founded in 1840, it displays a modest colonial architecture enriched by the wealthy villas of French-Canadian vacationers.

On the mountain side, Rang Saint-Antoine runs past sloping farmland above Domaine Forget, where a sparkling classical music festival is held all summer overlooking a sweeping panorama.
