Quickest route : Coming from Montreal or Quebec City, take highway 20 east, exiting at 98. Then take highway 30 towards Sorel, exiting at 147 towards Verchères.

Scenic route : From Quebec City, exit highway 20 at 112, then take highway 223 north along the Richelieu River towards Sorel and Saint-Marc. Turn left towards Calixa-Lavallée and Verchères. From Montreal, take the L.H. Lafontaine Tunnel to highway 132 exit and continue toward Varennes.
